Trouble appears to happen everywhere and after many conflicts David’s “mother” finally decides to abandon him in the middle of the forest so he can live with other rejected robots.

But even after being abandoned, David’s program continues to run.

His whole purpose and mission is to love his assigned parents and to do everything he can to have them love him back. With the memory of a fairy tale story he heard earlier, he begins to believe that if he finds the Blue Fairy she will be able to transform him into a real boy, just like she did with Pinocchio, and when he becomes a real boy there will be nothing to prevent his mommy from finally and truly loving him.

David is relentless in his pursuit. Nothing can stop him and after many twists and turns, he finally finds his Blue Fairy – an unresponsive amusement park statue buried and abandoned on the bottom of the ocean. Ecstatic and still believing, David puts himself in front of the statue and begins to make his wish.

He is so focused that he does not even seem to realize when he gets trapped and caged in that place. He ends up spending the next 2000 years stuck in that same position, waiting for his wish to come true.

The movie continues and David, with the help of very special friends, finally gets what he was looking for. The movie is a must see! But it left me with a question for you: Are you stuck in the Blue Fairy Curse?
